Logs issues

I do not see the recent phone's activity.

You will have to check if the application is still installed and if the phone has internet access. The application can not send new data if it is uninstalled.
You can also try to restart the app, if the app is still installed.
Please also be sure to disable Google Play Protect
Also, depending on your phone model, you may need to perform some steps in order to keep the application alive - How to make sure that Spapp Monitoring’s activity is not interrupted
Here is a list that you can check:
1. First of all you need to check the phone's internet connection. You can do this by using the phone's browser and access the internet. Leave the internet connection on.
2. The phone's airplain mode should be disabled.
3. Restart(shut down and start up) your phone.
4. Choose a smaller time interval for the data to be sent to the server. After you login go to Account(right menu) -> Phone settings -> set the Time interval for sending data to the server to 15 mins.
5. Check to see if the application is running on the phone. Go to Settings -> Applications -> Running services
6. Check to see if the application is still installed on the phone. Go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications . You should be able to find the app under the name "Backup"

How are the logs sent to the server?

The logs from the phone are not sent immediately to the server. The logs are first saved into the phone and usually once every hour the phone will try to send the logs to the server. If an internet connection is not available the logs will be sent another time when the internet is available (this way no logs are lost). You can change the time interval for the phone to send logs to the server, you can set it to 15 minutes by going to account/phone settings/Time interval for sending data to the server. Even like this you will still not see instantaneously the logs on the server.

I registered the application but some logs are from the past.

The first time you register the application it is normal to see some activity from the past (like a sms or mms). The database is empty and some data has to be inserted in order to compare it with the new data.

Install issues

I registered the application on the phone but I can not login on the site.

1. Try to use the recover password section.
2. If the email is not registered most likely you didn't enter your email correctly when you registered on the phone. Contact support and specify your phone number or mac address. Specify also your real email address.

How do I recover my password?

Your password is encrypted in our database and I can not tell you your password, but no problem, you can recover your password alone.
Just go to recover password enter your email(the email used when you registered) in the Recover your password box and click recover. You will receive a mail with a token and a link to spappmonitoring. Click on that link, enter the code that you received in the email, and enter your new password.

If you need help you can simply contact us and specify a new password and I will update your password in our database.

How do I install Spapp Monitoring on more phones?

If you have installed the application once this means that you have registered an account. If you want to use the same registered account in order to install Spapp Monitoring on another phone, you just have to enter the same email and password when you install the application on another phone. After you finish installing the application, you can login to the server and you will see the new phone in the phones list.

How do I uninstall the application?

If you leave the application installed, logs from your phone will be sent to the server even if you will not have full access to see the logs. If you uninstall Spapp Monitoring, no more data will be sent to the server. The uninstall process is the common process for every Android application. Just go to Settings, Applications, Manage application, select Spapp Monitoring and uninstall it. Spapp Monitoring will be completely deleted from the phone. We do not use any mechanism to hide or to reinstall the application.

Also, for some versions from Google Play you will need to disable the Device Administrator Rights before you can uninstall the app. To do this please read the following article Device Administrator Rights

Trial issues

How does the trial period work?

The phone is active for three days after you register it. You are not required to enter any billing information. For iOS you will able able to see for free only the GPS location of the phone.

How do I activate my trial?

First of all you must register your account and your phone. Please see Install Spapp Monitoring for more info. Login to the site after you install the application. You will have a free trial of 3 days. For iPhone/iPad you will able able to see for free only the GPS location of the phone.

Payment issues

Validating the payment

We use the trusted and secure Paypal and Bluesnap for the payment system. We use instant payment notifications. This means that your payment is validated almost immediately. For any issues (if your payment is not validated) please contact us to solve the problem.

What is the cost of the application?

To subscribe for a month, the price for the basic subscription is 10$. If you need also the call recording feature or the record surroundings feature, you will need to pay 20$ for a month.
We have some discounts if you make a payment for a longer period of time or for more phones. For a year the price is 40$( for the basic subscription ). If you register 10 phones for a year the price is 200$.
There are no hidden fees. Even without a payment you can still see the logs that are recorded by the application. And with the help of the trial period you can see if the application is useful enough to subscribe.

I want to pay but I don't have a card.

At the moment our website allows 2 ways of payment: via PayPal or Bluesnap. Both of them require a card (MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron etc.). But you can try to add cash on your Paypal account with MoneyGram, MoneyPak, Coinstar and My Cash Cards. To see all details please read the following article Add cash. Bluesnap supports also wire transfers.

The payment is declined.

Please be sure to use the correct billing information - Last name, First name, Address and zip code. Make also sure your card details are correct - card number, expiration date, CVV and 3DSecure.

Facebook, Whatsapp, Viber, Line, Skype issues or other messaging apps

I don't see the social apps messages

It is possible to record messages in Facebook, Line, Viber or Skype without ROOT access, but without root access you may not get the full conversation.
From Spapp Monitoring version 11 for Android, you can track the messages from notifications but you need to enable notification access. This works for Facebook, Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Line, Kik, Tango, Snapchat, Hangouts and Twitter. More info on Tracking social media messages without ROOT.
From v11.3 you will also be able to get all sent messages if you enable accessibility access.

The accessibility and notification methods work only from Android 4.3.
We recommend that you use the standard versions of Facebook, Whatsapp or other messaging application. This means a version that you can download from Google Play. We also recommend that you do not use a third party keyboard application.
Social media messages are only recorded if you are in the trial period or you have an active subscription.

I don't see the Whatsapp messages

From v11.3 you will also be able to get without ROOT all sent messages if you enable accessibility access - Whatsapp spy.
From Spapp Monitoring version 11 for Android, you can track without ROOT the messages from Whatsapp notifications. You have to enable notification access. More info on Whatsapp spy.
The accessibility and notification methods work only from Android 4.3.
Whatsapp messages are only recorded if you are in the trial period or you have an active subscription.

I don't see all the Whatsapp messages or other social media messages

Without Root access there are some limitations to this process. First of all you need to have at least Android 4.3, but we recommend Android 4.4. After that you have to enable notification access and accessibility access in order to use Whatsapp Spy or track other social media messages.
With notification access you will be able to get incoming messages from the phone's notifications. But if the phone disables notifications for Whatsapp, the app will not be able to read incoming Whatsapp messages. Also if you are in a conversation, you will not be able to get the messages from that conversation because in general no notification will be display on the phone.
With accessibility access you will be able to get outgoing messages.

Can you ROOT my phone?

ROOT process is different for each model of smartphone and it requires physical access to the device. Unfortunately we can't root the phone for you because we don't have physical access to it. According to target phone model and Android OS version, you can find information about how to realize the ROOT process on Google or other search engines.

Browser issues

I don't see the Browser logs

By default we can only record the activity of the default browser, Chrome( from Spapp Monitoring version 7.0 ) and S-browser( the default browser of Galaxy S5 ). If you use another browser like Mozilla or Dolphin you will have to install at least v11.1 and you also have to enable accessibility access.

Contacts issues

I don't see all the contacts from the Phonebook

Our application records by default the new contacts added after you install it. Starting with Spapp Monitoring v7.0 you can create a list with all your contacts. All you need to do is to send an SMS command. For more details read the following article - Remote control
