Whatsapp no root troubleshooting

This troubleshooting is for an old version of Spapp Monitoring. With a new version of Spapp Monitoring, you can use this WhatsApp Spy Tool even without ROOT just by enabeling notification access and accessibility access. We recommend that you use the new WhatsApp Spy solution, since it is the only solution that now works. Please take the time to read the article about How to hack WhatsApp.

Q:ADB installer
A:After finishing downloading the ADB installer please open it
In the new Command line press on the “Y” and “Enter” key from your keyboard every time you are asked. Install Device driver required by ADB installer You will be prompted to install the device drivers required by ADB installer. Press on the “Y” and “Enter” key from your keyboard. Click on “Next” and after that on the “Finish” button.
Attention! A warning message may appear. Select “Install” option to successfully complete this operation.

Q: This method does not work on my phone
A: You will need to check your Android version
Go from the phone’s menu to Settings => More => Android version If the target phone runs an older Android version than 4.0 then you can read the following article WhatsApp 2.11.186

Q: WhatsApp logs are updated only once per day
A: It’s normal if the target phone doesn’t have Root access
Usually WhatsApp daily backups occur at 4:00. If you wish to make a new backup please open WhatsApp from the target phone => Options => Settings => Chat Settings => Backup conversations and select it. Now a new Backup will be performed.

Q: I performed all the steps but still can’t see the WhatsApp messages
A: Check if the key.txt file was copied to your phone
Open File Manager from the phone => All files => Device Storage => WhatsApp => Databases and try to locate the key.txt file. If you can’t find key.txt file it means that it was not automatically copied.

Q: The key.txt file was not automatically copied
A: Manually copy the key.txt file
Connect your phone to your PC via USB cable and go to Start => Computer => Portable Devices => Phone => WhatsApp => Databases and copy “key.txt” file from your computer located on SpyPhoneAppExtract folder => copy_to_phone => key.txt. If you have installed WhatsApp, you should have a directory on the sdcard named WhatsApp/Databases . The file should be copied to that directory.

Q: This method worked but I can not see any new WhatsApp log
A: Check if WhatsApp changed the key
Please log on our website with your email and password and select WhatsApp section (from the right side). If indeed the WhatsApp key has been changed the following message should be displayed “The key.txt file has changed. Please copy again this file to the phone”.
If that’t the case then you need to repeat the steps from this tutorial WhatsApp without Root

Q: I can’t find Developer options
A: Some phones don’t come with this option enabled
If you can’t see the Developer options tab please go to phone’s Menu => Settings => More => About device and click on the Build number several times (about 7 times). From this moment the Developer options will be enabled.

Q: My phone is not detected by PC / Laptop
A: Download and install USB drivers
According to the model of the device please search and install on your PC the USB drivers provided by your mobile phone manufacturer. For example you should find the usb drivers for Samsung at this page : Samsung USB drivers
Also for sony you may also need to change a setting from Settings → Xperia → Connectivity → USB connection mode → MSC or MTP

Q: “Back up my data” option is not available
A: Reboot the phone
The first step is to try to unplug the USB cable and reboot the phone. Reconnect the phone to PC via USB cable and repeat the procedure. If this issue persists it’s possible that some manufacturers have disabled the USB backup feature.

Q: WhatsAppKeyExtract displays an error
A: Check if you have installed Java on your PC/Laptop
Usually Java will automatically start the installation procedure if not already present on your system. If the installation does not start automatically please manually install Java from SpyPhoneAppExtract folder => bin => jxpiinstall.exe

Q: Java is installing constantly
A: Manually Install Java
Stop the current process and try to manually install Java from SpyPhoneAppExtract folder => bin => jxpiinstall.exe Attention! Please do not change the installation path. Install Java on default folder. Otherwise you can be stuck in a loop.

Q: I`m still stuck in Java loop
A: Change variables on your PC
You may need to change some variables on your computer. This procedure can vary. Please contact us to provide you all information.

Q: I use Windows 8.1 and problems occur
A: There may be some driver enumeration issues
In order to solve this issue please download and install the following update KB2917929 for your Windows 8.1
