Android 9 and Spapp Monitoring
The new Android version 9 has more updates than the previous Android 8 The most important updates related to Phone Monitoring are related to security and accessibility.
Normally on Android 9 there are more restrictions for recording process, so call recordings and surroundings may not work on some devices.
The good news is the devices tested by us have these functions working perfectly without any skips or exceptions. We strongly recommend to enable notification for Phone Tracker and to disable the battery optimization in order to be sure the recording process as any other processes generated by our application will not be disabled. To do it please follow steps from I and II or instead of II the one for your target device model from here.
The bad news is if on your device those steps do not help then most likely this is a limitation from your device. This is why we strongly recommend to test the app in the trial first and after to make a full subscription (with call recordings and surroundings) or a basic one. We remind you that we offer only 3 free call recordings in the trial period.

The install process for our app on Android 9.0 is exactly the same as for Android 8.0.
ATTENTION:
Before you install the application on the phone that you want to monitor, you must:
- Go to Settings > Security > check Unknown Sources
- Go to Google Settings > Security > Uncheck or Turn Off "Scan device for Security threats"
